pTune is a fast, accurate polyphonic guitar tuner for iPhone and iPad. Strum all six strings at once and see every note tuned in real time, or pick a single note for chromatic tuning. A built-in metronome helps you keep time during practice.
pTune analyzes the sound of your guitar in real time to detect pitch. Audio is processed entirely on your device and never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
Yes. You can use any audio input — built-in microphone, headset mic, or a guitar interface plugged into your iPhone/iPad. For best accuracy with electric guitars, a wired interface is recommended.
pTune targets ±1 cent accuracy on a strong, clean signal. In polyphonic mode the accuracy depends on how cleanly the strings are struck and how much the notes overlap.
